Installation

For best results:

1. Carefully remove the original cap using a flat-blade screwdriver.
2. Lightly soak the new felt ring in silicone grease or fluorine grease.
3. Fit the felt ring into the cap and align it with the carburettor body.
4. Gently tap the cap into position using a plastic hammer or suitable drift.
5. If the felt protrudes inward excessively, carefully reshape it using a smooth round tool.

Installation Tip (TA Carburettors)

When reinstalling the caps, ensure they are fitted in the correct position.

• No.1 is fitted on the left-hand side (viewed from the intake side).
• No.2 is fitted on the right-hand side.
• The large resin washer fits on the nut side of No.1 and No.2.
• The small resin washer fits at the lever root of No.3.

Incorrect installation may deform the cap and make it unusable.
