Refund policy

Bushido Motorcycles is committed to supplying quality parts and products for classic Japanese performance motorcycles. If you experience an issue with an order, we will work with you to resolve it fairly and in accordance with New Zealand consumer law.

Consumer Guarantees Act

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Change of Mind

We do not generally accept returns for change of mind.

Please ensure the item you are purchasing is correct for your motorcycle before placing an order.

At our discretion we may accept a return for change of mind provided that:

the item is unused
the item is in original packaging
the item is returned within 14 days of delivery

If a change of mind return is accepted, a refund may be issued excluding original shipping costs.

Incorrect or Faulty Items

If you receive an incorrect item or a product that is faulty or damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue we may request:

your order number
a description of the issue
photos of the item and packaging

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or incorrect we will arrange one of the following:

replacement item
repair
refund

Return shipping costs will be covered where the item supplied was incorrect or faulty.

Condition of Returned Items

Returned items must be:

unused
uninstalled
in original packaging
in the same condition as supplied

Items that have been installed, modified, or damaged after delivery cannot be returned unless the product is faulty.

Fitment Responsibility

Motorcycle parts vary by model, year, and specification.

Customers are responsible for confirming compatibility with their motorcycle before placing an order.

Bushido Motorcycles cannot accept returns for incorrectly ordered parts where the item supplied matches the product description.

Special Order & Made-to-Order Items

Parts ordered specifically for a customer, including special order, imported, or made-to-order products, cannot be returned or refunded unless the item is faulty or supplied incorrectly.
