The Samurai’s Forge: Readying the 2018 Ducati 821 Monster

In the forge this week, the focus has been on a 2018 Ducati 821 Monster — a fresh arrival from Japan, and a seriously sharp machine. This one’s a smooth operator, and the prep has been refreshingly straightforward.

We’ve already handled the essentials: oil and air filter change completed, and fresh cam belts installed thanks to a trusted friend at a nearby workshop. No surprises, no setbacks — just solid, honest work to get this Italian stallion tuned and ready.

It’s not quite road-ready yet, but we’re nearly there. Once sorted, it’ll be back doing what it was built for — carving corners and turning heads.
