RG250 Project Bike Update: Sourcing Rare Gems from Japan
Share
The journey to restore our Suzuki RG250 Gamma Project Bike continues, and we’re thrilled to share a major milestone!
Fresh from Japan:
We’ve recently sourced key bodywork components directly from Japan, including side panels and the tailpiece. These parts are in fantastic condition and bring us one step closer to reviving this iconic two-stroke machine.
Every piece tells a story of precision and craftsmanship, embodying the spirit of Japanese engineering that made the RG250 a groundbreaking motorcycle in the 1980s.
Still on the Hunt:
While our progress is exciting, we’re still searching for a few crucial parts:
- Top Cowling: The unmistakable front fairing that gives the RG250 its bold, aggressive stance.
- Mirrors: Small but essential, these will complete the bike’s authentic look and functionality.
What’s Next?
For now, the bodywork we’ve acquired will stay safely stored while we continue refining other aspects of the restoration. The focus is still on sourcing the missing pieces and preparing the bike for the day we can assemble it with care and precision.
Restoring the RG250 isn’t just about rebuilding a motorcycle – it’s about preserving a piece of motorcycling history. This project is a labor of love, and every step brings us closer to honoring the legacy of this incredible machine.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this journey, and thank you for being part of the adventure!
